Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 6, 2026

PublicAffordableHousing.com is a free, read-only reference site. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run, measure, and fund the site. In short: no accounts, no newsletter, no forms that store your information on our servers, and we never see the income figures you type into our calculators.

What we collect, and what we don't

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are useful: pages visited, approximate location (city level), device type, and how visitors arrive. This information is aggregated; we do not use it to identify individuals. Google's practices are described in the Google Privacy Policy, which applies to all data Google Analytics collects (see also how Google uses information from sites that use its services), and you can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Advertising

The site is funded by Google AdSense advertising. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads, which may be based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites.

You can control personalized advertising:

Third-party links

We link to housing authority websites, application portals, government resources such as HUD, and property websites. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control. Anything you submit on an external site, including a housing application, is governed by that site's policy, not ours.

Children

The site is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. Because we hold essentially no personal data beyond emails you send us, the practical scope here is small: email us and we will delete your correspondence on request. For data held by Google (analytics and advertising), use the Google controls linked above.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes materially, we will update this page and its date. Questions: [email protected].

The federal Fair Housing Act prohibits discrimination in housing because of race, color, national origin, religion, familial status, gender, and disability. The Fair Housing Act ensures that all persons receive equal housing opportunity.
